Marcelo serves as Vice President of Finance Americas Region of Besins Healthcare Inc, a role he has held since 2020. He joined the company in 2014 as the Regional Director of Finance Americas. Marcelo is responsible for finance, accounting/treasury for the US companies and is the liaison to other Besins Healthcare companies in Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Latin America.   With a career spanning over 30 years of experience in international accounting and finance, Marcelo brings a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of global financial operations.   Prior to joining ASCEND, Marcelo spent 12 years leading the international accounting departments for a variety of fortune 500 companies. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Fluminense Federal University and has two master’s degrees, one in Management and Corporate Finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas Brazil and the other in Finance and Administration from University Candido Mendes.
