THERAPEUTIC AREAS

ASCEND uses its proprietary percutaneous hydroalcoholic gel technology, EHG™, to deliver therapy in instances where oral delivery is impossible or undesirable. Often, chronic conditions require daily or continuous treatment, and side effects from pharmaceuticals treating these conditions can have an impact on an individual's ability to function.

ASCEND currently has drug candidates in clinical development and numerous candidates in formulation or preclinical stages. The company's two clinical candidates are afimoxifene gel, being investigated for the treatment of cyclic breast pain and other benign breast conditions, and DHT-Gel, currently in Phase 2 trials for disorders relating to aging men's health.
